Program Overview

The Classroom Assistance Grant is awarded to Texas public school teachers who, on a daily basis, demonstrate commitment to public education and Texas children through the creation of programs, events, or other learning platforms.

Applicants may download an application from the TRTF website beginning September 15, 2023. All applications must be received in full by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

The names of the grant recipients will be announced on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Winners will be notified by email, and the names of the recipients will be shared on the TRTF website and Facebook.

TRTF has awarded $177,000 in grants since 2008.
