Annual Giving
It has been 21 years since the Texas Retired Teachers Association (TRTA) Board of Directors approved the formation of the “Building Trust Fund,” which in 2000 became the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF). We have come so far, thanks to supporters like you!
TRTF continues its scholarship and grant programs this year (increasing the number of grants from four to ten), and has launched its newest program “A Helping Hand” statewide. The 2011-2012 Student Scholarship and Classroom Assistance Grant recipients will be announced at the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation Luncheon held in conjunction with the TRTA 58th Annual Convention, April 12-14, 2011 in San Antonio. “A Helping Hand” grants will be given periodically throughout the year as applications are received.
Your support of the Foundation matters. It has the power to change lives and bring opportunities to teachers and students. Your support aids retired teachers and school personnel in critical need. Please show your appreciation and support by sending your unrestricted annual gift today!
Make your annual gift now, and support the Texas educators of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Return a donation card with your check or money order, or donate online using our JustGive.org feature (see the Ways to Give page for donation options).
DESIGNATIONS:
Gifts to the Texas Retired Teachers Foundation are tax-deductible and may be designated for any of TRTF’s three charitable programs: “A Helping Hand,” Classroom Assistance Grants, and Student Scholarships. Let us know what program means the most to you, and we will ensure that your donation helps the cause you care about.
Gifts may also be made in honor or in memory of a loved one.
